Report of the 2nd Mission to Pakistan (Provision of Foodstuffs)

On Thursday, the 29th of April 2009, a team of members of "Heart Doctors" traveled to Quetta, a city in Pakistan. The purpose of the mission was to provide basic foodstuffs to starving families.

The items purchased from the local wholesale markets were sugar and wheaten flour; they were carried by 25 cars to a village near Quetta where they were distributed. The place was miserable.

Quetta is the largest city and the provincial capital of the Balochistan Province of Pakistan. It is an important marketing and communication center of Pakistan with the neighboring Iran and Afghanistan. It is situated at an elevation of 1900 meters above sea level.
