Report of the 3rd Mission to Palestine, Gaza Strip (Medicines and Foodstuffs)

On the 27th of December 2008, the armed forces of Israel started bombing the Gaza Strip after Hamas (a Palestinian political Organization) broke the armistice between Israel and Palestine. The Palestinians suffered heavy casualties (420 persons were killed and 2.200 were wounded, many of them were children and civilians).

"Heart Doctors" decided to help immediately the Palestinian population; on the 31st of December they transported to Tel Aviv a load of medicines and carried them to the people responsible to use the medicines.

In addition to medicines, "Heart Doctors" bought from local markets and offered to Palestinians rice, milk powder for children, wheaten flour and bottled drinking water.

"Heart Doctors" were again the first humanitarian Organization that visited the war field bringing assistance from abroad while Gaza was under heavy fire.
