17th Mission NIGERIA

A five member team of Heart Doctors traveled to Mina, the capital of Niger State; the purpose of the mission was to offer free medical services to the people of remote areas in that State. The team worked in the following areas: (11.1.2013) Akma Jyi, (12.1.2013) Beyi, (13.1.2013) Pandogari, (14.1.2013) Gusuru, (15.1.2013) Erena, 16.1.2013) Maje. Every day, a large number of people were visiting with various health problems, the most frequent of which were hypertention, upper and lower abdominal pains, parasites, malaria, infections of the uro-genetical tract, infections of the respiratory tract, low back pain, hemoglobinopathy S/C and other. The team visited the village SHE and worked at its medical center which was financed and inaugurated in 2008 by the Organization. Mr. Umar Tango Kuta, a old friend of Heart Doctors, organized very efficiently the activities of the mission.
