14th Mission NIGER

On Thursday, the 21st of March, 2019, a team of Heart Doctors flew from Athens and through Abuja it reached Zinder, a city in the Southern Republic of Niger. There they purchased certain staple food commodities and offered them to poor nomadic populations of shepherds staying in the wider area around Zinder. This land suffers from drought and hunger.

As a matter of fact, they purchased corn flour, milk powder for children, rice, and wheaten flour. These commodities were distributed to representatives of Fulani, Tuareg and Hausa ethnic groups who transported them by animals to the places where they stay with their herds.
