A team of members of “Heart Doctors” visited the capital Mogadishu of Somalia on Monday the 7th of December, 2009. The purpose of the visit was to purchase staple food commodities and distribute them to starving families living in the suburbs near Mogadishu. Wheaten flour and milk powder were bought, transported and distributed to the suffering population.

The shortages of foodstuffs and the problem of malnutrition are very serious in Somalia today.
